SOCIAL CULTURE

INTRODUCTION………..
⚫Sociocultural is a term related to social and
cultural factors, which means common
traditions, habits, patterns and beliefs
present in a population group. The term is
mostly used in sociologic and marketing
contexts and refers to the most remarkable
drivers behind the way people makes decisions
in a society.
DETERMINANTS OF SOCIO-CULTURE
ENVIRONMENT
● Belief: Attitude is the judgments about a person, object,
idea, or activity. It may be positive or negative, like and
dislike. Hence, it is an evaluative statement and reflects
personality and behavior. It reflects a way of responding
to the environment.
● Attitude: Attitude is the judgments about a person,
object, idea, or activity. It may be positive or
negative, like and dislike. Hence, it is an evaluative
statement and reflects personality and behavior. It
reflectsa way of responding to the environment.
● Religion: it provides the philosphical foundation for
beleifs and values .it also determines the social
relationship.
● Language: It is one of the important part of culture
.it is the medium of communication .it is a tool of
understanding the people .lack of language creates
problem of communication.
● Education: is the backbone for the development of a
country . It is a source of knowledge of a country.
● Family structure: Family is a social institution. It
significantly affects the business decisions. In Nepal
decisions are mostly made by head of family mainly
males.
● Social organization: it refers to form of
common intrest groups or
community.They can can exert
significant pressure on the business.
● Class structure & classification :Social
classes are found due to differences in
income levels. All the members in a
class likely to have similar values &
attitudes.
CLASS STRUCTURE AND
CLASSIFICATION…
(A) Lower class: This is a very low income class. The
lower class people have low purchasing power. The
lower income customers focus on low-cost products
(B) Middle class: They have medium income. This class
is formed by professionals like doctors, engineers,
teachers, etc
(c) Upper class: They have high income with luxuries
lifestyle. They prefer branded goods. This class is very
small in size.

Conclusion ………
⚫Culture has great impact on the way interact on our
language our tone and in way of living in society.
⚫Culture leads us to connect to the concerns and
interests of others.
⚫Culture leads us to the understanding of the lives and
motivations of others.
⚫Social structure and social change are general concepts
used by social scientists. Particularly in the fields of
sociology and social and cultural authropology.
