2. GIRL CHARACTER
For the girl character in our
music video we want to keep
her costume as casual as
possible. As the music video is
a narrative, the costumes
have to be somewhat realistic
and laid-back.
So we chose a variety of
different possible outfits that
she can wear. Including a jean
jacket and ripped jeans; which
have an indie vibe to them. A
plain black dress; for when
she’s at a party. Finally, black
ripped jeans and a pink coat;
for when she’s outdoors.
3. EX-MAN CHARACTER
For the ‘ex-man’
character in our music
video we looked at other
music videos for our
genre and found that
they usually have an
indie feel to their
costume.
I included a bomber
jacket, a black and white
chequered shirt, black
sweater, black jeans and
some vans.
4. NEW MAN CHARACTER
For the ‘new man’ character,
which most of the plot is about,
we chose his style to be more
upper class and more designer
to the ex-man’s style.
We need to keep the new man
looking richer than the ex-man,
and costumes is a perfect way
to convey this difference. He
can wear a navy blazer, black
trousers and navy shoes to look
more stylish and upper class.
He can also have a black
hoodie, black cap, black jeans,
designer punch and a blingy
watch to also show off his
wealth.
