The song I chose is 'any hope left' by Tupac
and Cengiz Kurtoglu.
The main reason of my choice was
since both artist have a huge lyrical link
as they use strong lyrical word play to
express there negative emotions, anger
and pain caused by a heartbreak.
This song focuses on the negative impact
love has on one another rather than the
positives it brings with it, which isn't a
common thing to link with love as its
usually categorised with positivity and
passion but these two artist take the idea
of love out its comfort zone.

Cengiz Kurtoglu was born on the 5th of May, 1959.
He is famous for being a World Music Singer. He
sang the song “Önce Bir Kaç Damla Yas” as a duet
with Hande Yener. Cengiz Kurtoglu’s age is 62.
Singer who became an icon in Turkey with releases
like Bizim sarkimiz (1988), Gözü Yasli Yasanmiyor
(1999) and Sakli Düsler (2014) over the course of
his multi-decade career. Some of his most popular
songs include “Sakli Düsler,” “Duvardaki Resim” and
“Farketmez Artik.”

5. SETTING AND IMAGERY
The reason for me using an image of a Timberland
tree is because it is rumoured to be a symbol of a
suicide tree where people used to end there life's
by hanging themselves on the branches of it, this
links to my idea of my main character ending it all
as he couldn't handle the trauma caused by his
relation ship ending tragically.
I do plan on having a much more dark and
shadowy setting which will help add to the
atmosphere of the music video and may help build
tension during intense scenes, there will also be
plenty of blood and gore in my music video as it will
visually show and create an effect of pain and
damage which is what I'm aiming for focusing on
the negative/dark side of love. Even though there
will be a high amount of violence and blood in my
music video the main aim will be to help show
awareness and prevent younger kids and adults
from having ideas of self harm and I do plan on
doing this through my music video which will
highlight the destruction it causes not only to the
person but also there surrounding.

6. CAMERA SHOTS,
ANGLES AND
EFFECTS First person point of view is what I'm going to go for as it will associate the
narrator with a specific character within the storyline of the music video.
This helps to transport the audience directly into the mind and experience
of the main character as they are in his shoes keeping them hooked and
also feel connected to the main character at the same time.
I will be including these effects during certain scenes in my music video as its a
great way to emphasize the feeling or message that the video is trying to
convey to the audience.

Also I do plan on using straight cuts to prevent the audience from getting bored,
maybe some fade ins and fade outs and shot overlaps for effect.
other techniques I also plan on using are camera movements such as mid
shots and close ups as they can be used to see the opposite characters face
and their emotions and I also plan on using cutting to the beat which is
when each clip changes at the same time as the beat of the track does.

7. TARGET AUDIENCE
Target Audience: 16+ will be the recommended audience for my music video as of the high volume of violence that will be
included in the music video which wont be ideal for too many young viewers. The age group of 16+ will be directly targeted in
the video as of that age group is a point in life where many kids start experiencing hard times in life let it be school, issues at
home, friend and in this case a relationship which many will be able to relate to making them feel part of the music video.
As well as hosting my videos on YouTube, I could also use video advertising to attract more of my desired target audience. The
idea is simple. I will create a short video ad that’s played before the main content for the demographic I have chosen – and I
only pay the ad fee when the video is watched.
YouTube regularly assesses what viewers are watching and makes recommendations. This means I can easily target your ideal
customers such as men aged 16 and 25 who live in London, or women over 20 interested in in the idea of negative love.
One of the main reasons the audience will want to see my music video is since its not just a music video but instead its a
POV telling the story of a man who's hurt from love and his journey through tough times, my music video isn't going to be there
just for visual factors but also convey the message of the song and lyrics.

8. CHARACTERS
-Main Character- Musti, he's the main centre attraction of the music video who's POV is most of the video, the audience will be
experiencing the trauma with him as he slowly losses hope from his relation ship, he's a 20 year old student who goes partying
often and lives his life to the fullest but things really get rough for him...
-Sofia is the toxic ex that ends up causing all this unnecessary trauma to Musti as she ends there relationship in a blink of an
eye.her Description: 5’6, dark brown hair, around the age groups of 18-21, is a very arrogant and toxic towards musti during
there interactions.
-Bad guy, it’s says it all from his name he’s a long time grudge holder against Musti and ends up coming face to face with him
while Musti is out and about dealing with the unfortunate heart brake. Musti being the scumbag he is, he ends up arguing with
Musti causing unnecessary drama and conflict which dosent end well for both sides.
