3. - MAJOR DUTIES:
Member of Project Management Team for the building project of a Jack
Up Rig which is being built in Keppel FELS shipyard, Singapore.
- Supervise the engineering design package and fabrication of Jack up
Rig at the project site, being a focal point of supervision for Structure/
piping/ painting.
- Review AFC/AFU drawings from Rig Builder; figure out improvement
points to perfection rig design.
- Perform other duties to assist Management Team with respect to
Project Supervision/ Project Management.
- Piping & Structure/ Painting engineer for new Jack up Rig project of PV
Drilling Corporation.
- Responsibilities to check the material certificate chemical composition
and the physical properties.
- Confirm the material against the material certificate.
- To check the material surface condition, thickness, diameter and
length, prepare the heat certificate register.
- To monitor the welding activities as per Project Specification and
Procedure.
- Review the Radiographic film, witness Hydrostatic test and Post Weld
Heat Treatment.
- Visual Inspection Welds.
- Dimensional pipe spool to control quality.
- Supervise for painting process.
- Responsibilities to check the documents related to the work as follow:
Drawing, Welding Procedure, Welder Qualification and Project
Specification.
- Check the pipe and any component size, thickness & surface condition
prior fit-up/weld.
- To follow the NDT/ related Heat Treatment per the Client/Project
Specification.
- Prepare and submit the MDR (Manufacture Data Record) to the Client
after complete project.
- QA/QC; NDT; Welding Inspector for PV Drilling (Dec
2009 – 2010):
- Inspection all Lifting gear equipment, Drilling tools, piping, welds…..
- Rope Access NDT inspection for PVDI, PVD II, PVD III, ENCSO 107…
- Carrying out MT, PT for drill pipe, casing, tubing, stabilizer piping, BHA.

- The owner is JVPC and the main contractor is the Southern Oil and
