3. Graphic Design Production
⢠Advantages of working in this medium
⢠You will be getting to the end point you want, also you can
understand where it is going to end up as.
⢠Disadvantages of working in this medium
â You may not have fully got the end product you would like
as some small parts you might not be able to do with the
tools or what you know.
4. Graphic Design Production
Both us the same
âdrawn upâ style
to them, this art
style will gain
attention from
younger and
older people,
widening the
target audience.
Then have to
short
impactful
slogan so itâll
be a lot easier
to remember
the poster as a
whole.
The branding and
logos used are made
very visible on the
posters so that the
brand is easy to
recognize with little
effort.
In both
posters the
person looks
happy and
glad to be
getting the
product.
5. Graphic Design Production
One weakness is
that the final
product isnât
very touched up
and there are a
few small things
to change. This
happens for
something such
as not adding in
the background
of the coke
bottle.
The program used was photo
shop to do the poster. Multiple
different tools was used such as
the âmagic brushâ and the
âclone toolâ. To match the
background colour used a tool
to get the exact color used.
6. Radio Production
⢠Advantages of working in this medium
⢠This is good as you only have to worried about sound as there are no type
of images use so this could make the work easy to do and would take a lot
less time to do and finish. Also radio adds are normally just short snippets
of sound put together.
⢠Disadvantages of working in this medium
⢠As its radio you may have to speak or use your own voice at some points in
it that some people may not be alright with doing.
7. Radio Production
⢠The final product doesnât have a very similar existing product as its many types
pushed into one. For example it has links with the older pre war adverts by
using a very high tempo 'dance' type song as all old adverts used. Also, in most
Coca Cola adverts they build up to a main part showing the product being
used and in hand the mood being lifted and becomes more joyful. I used this
as well by having a coke being opened, which is the peak of the whole ad.
⢠After that is then takes parts from newer ads. When the coke is opened is
changes to a more modern beat/song so it has parts for people who enjoy the
old style and the new one.
⢠The main difference is that it mixes a lot of things into one ad as I'm trying to
gain the likes of everyone. Also, the beat used for the morden parts comes
from a trap/ hip hop song which isn't done often. Normally they use song from
the charts that are known by everyone and that a worldwide.
8. Radio Production
⢠The changes that I would make is that there to too big of a gap with the two
music samples. I could find a faster song for the pre war (first) song, or I
could find a slower song for the modern (second) song. This as a whole would
make the ad a lot more fluent as itâs a sudden change.
⢠The tools and hardware I used was; Adobe Premiere Pro for mixing and
putting it all together, YouTube for getting all the audio clips I used and then
used a YouTube to MP3 converter to transfer the clips from YouTube to Adobe.
⢠In Adobe I used the basic tools to cut and trim the audio to make it fit
together. Also, I had to use fades to make it run smoothly so its got no sudden
stops and doesnât sound choppy.
⢠I then leveled all the audio out so it all sounds the same and that some sounds
donât peak to high or it'll start to get distorted.
10. Video Game Production
⢠Advantages of working in this medium
⢠The good parts about doing this is that if you donât like to type a lot and
you prefer to draw things out. Also you can go back at type point and
change work if you need to later on in the project.
⢠Disadvantages of working in this medium
⢠If you donât like drawing and sketches you could find the video game hard
to long to finish. As there is on text at all, it could be hard for someone to
follow what you wanted it to look like or could be difficult for someone to
follow.
11. Video Game Production
Both use a colour scheme
that keep in one area only
the places you should look
at a lot stand are in very
different colors.
The existing product has a
HUD for the character like
the points and health unlike
mine.
My game is basic
which could work
for some people as
it can be easier to
follow the game
and character
My game only gives
the player one path
to go though where
as the other gives
you different
options to play on.
My game
doesn'tât have
any type of
thing trying to
stop the
player from
winning.
12. Video Game Production
Mine uses a few
different colors so its
easy for the person
playing to follow the
game. There are not a lot
of contrasting colors in it
beside the game
character which is the
only thing you should be
following
A weakness could be
that the game
doesnât have a lot of
fine details in It so it
looks plain for a
game.
Before starting the
animation I sketched
out on paper what I
wanted it to look like on
paper before starting.
After I did the paper is
scanned in to my
computer and put into
my work. The tools used
to draw it out would be
photo shop and setting
up the page into pixels.
For the animation I still
used photo shop by
taking still picture one
frame at a time and
then playing it all at
once.
13. Comparison
⢠Which product do you believe advertises the
product the best? The best option would be the radio
add as it has a higher audience of people that would like it as
anyone in any age gap will be bigger.
⢠Which of your products is the most
professional? The radio add would be the most
professional as it look very close to the real once that are sent
out.
