2. Digipak cover
Focus on the body of the main
singer Nathaniel Rateliff shows
audience who to look out for.
Suggests signature look and also
implies the genre of music is rock
shown by the open shirt with
perhaps a rugged twist due to the
necklace and hairy body.
Brightness of the background
suggests the music will be light-
hearted and fun which contrasts with
the darker colours of the clothes
which implies that there will be
elements of rock and soul as well.
The fact that the writing of the artist is in
smaller font suggests that the songs and
people involved are more important than the
name of the artists although the capital
letters suggests some importance.
3. Digipak back cover
Again, dark colours are a
reoccurring theme on the
back of the digipack to show
that the rock genre
continues. Similar colours of
the writing and the clothing
represent that the songs
match the tone of the
clothes.
The fact that the back of the
album only shows the songs and
the back of the artist suggests
that the artists wants the
audience to focus on the actual
songs they have produced, not
necessarily a main focus on the
band themselves as they donāt
wish to show off but be credited
for their music.
4. Advertsing
Poster for the artist this
time showing the whole
band all wearing similar
clothing in line with rick
and country to show the
theme and genre of the
album. Much more colour
than on the digipack which
suggests that the songs are
themed with light-
heartedness, peace and
love.
The text on the poster is in big, bold letters
which allows it to stand out to the reader
so they know who the band is and catches
their eye immediately. There is no other
writing anywhere else so the band name is
the first thing they look at.
The lead singer, Nathaniel
Rateliff is at the centre of the
image to stress his importance
and his central position means it
is one pf the first components of
the poster the reader will
recognise as the face of the
band.
