Differentiated the Semiramis InterContinental from the Competition, Re introducing the Semiramis to
the Local market through a set of packages and special offerings bringing back their attention and
creating a BUZZ in the local market .
Building on the power of the Social Media, we targeted TripAdvisor to improve our hotel and
restaurants ranking to increase hotel visibility, which worked great especially for our restaurants; where
four restaurants came among the top10 of more than 3000 outlets in Cairo.

- Initiating an ambition action plan to increase Egyptians direct & wedding rates. From 750 EGP to
reach 1300 EGP without losing ground on number of room nights.
- Despite location challenges 2012 achieving the highest occupancy in downtown during Peak
seasons 84% vs. 58%
- Supported the development of the revenue team during the sharp low demand that negatively
impacted their income, in addition to the freeze of promotions through improving their skills, cross
exposure internally & externally at ZERO cost.
- Task Force opening of the new Lagos InterContinental (Nigeria) as Director of Revenue during the
period May to August 2013
