Revenue & Sales Target: 
The target is managing hotel sales function to drive market share and growth; Develop and manage revenue forecast strategy; Manage and develop existing accounts and drive new business for the hotel and group. 
Provide leadership in the areas of sales, revenue optimization, pricing, distribution, analysis, evaluation & resources necessary to achieve the hotel’s top line revenue objectives. 
Maximizes the utilization of all automated sales and reservations systems involved with group business to sell the last room on each particular day and to make sure the hotel gets the highest rate for each room in order to achieve the highest occupancy with maximum revenue. 
Coordinating agents and buyers sales visits (FAM trips). Clients, events & organization.
Sales Key responsibilities include: 
 
 Pricing strategy, sales strategy, marketing and business plan, budgeting process & development of new segments. 
 Follows the sales and marketing results (accounts’ room night productivity, revenue, etc.) and proposes corrective actions if needed. 
 Main responsibility is to maintain strong, professional relationships with the relevant representatives from competitor hotels and other organizations, corporate, Wholesaler, local business groups and airlines. 
 Develop and maintain a regular pattern of sales calls, meeting with principals of target market. Handling client site inspections and client entertainment. 
 Increase understanding of Public Events & Holidays of Various Calendar and analyzing factors. 
 Setting up attractive website packages & promotions for incremental revenue and prolonging the average length of stay. 
 Understand how other hotels in the area are pricing themselves. 
 Taking an active approach in developing accounts and coaching the team to develop accounts successfully. 
 Penetrate all new and existing accounts to maximum potential for the hotel. 
 Be aware when the existing companies are “put out to tender” for their hotel requirements and be ready with rates which can be presented in a professional and imaginative way. 
 Regularly monitors performance against targets and is able to identify different source offices. 
 Track sales programs/promotions/advertising/ communicate potential sales leads in order to push sales and provide feedback as necessary to relevant departments. 
 Monitor current, accurate information on both “BOB” situation and the external climate “Forecast” which the hotel operates. 
 Maintaining a healthy marketing mix from the different markets. 
 Analyzing the different markets and implement accordingly the strategy 
 Maintain pro-active collaboration with M&E Sales Department in order to convert business leads. 
 Built strong MICE contacts through analytical of future and repeat businesses 
 Established sales business reporting, forecasting and budgeting on a quarterly basis. 
 Monitoring accurate information & rate loading on 3rd party channels to enhance GDS bookings. 
 Monitor the outstanding balances with travel agents on credit basis in order to minimize and control the Ageing balances.
Reservation Key responsibilities: 
 Study & set reasonable three month’s forecast. 
 Support Director of sales & Revenue MGR in preparing next year plan. 
 Monitor the yearly figures overview comparing with Last year & Vs budget. 
 Manage the Market segment in the area & update the price strategy plan on daily basis according to the availability to attract the maximum of market share & with maximum revenue. 
 Monitor the nationality daily & monthly production Vs last year productivity along with Room 
Revenue & Total Revenue. 
 Manage the daily operation & payment adherence policy according to reservation types. 
 Handling daily pick-up report to review the sold out dates, which date need more business & 
preferred segment to sell comparing with budget to maximize the Room, F&B & Other revenue. 
 Analysis daily competition reports “MPI, ARI, RGI, Rev Par indexes” to be able to measure our hotels comparing with the competition & rank number one monthly & yearly of both average rate and rev.par and not just to occupancy. 
 Handling strategic availability of rates & inventory to achieve maximization of room sales and revenue by Implement and monitor waitlists for all revenue streams & maintain rooms’ inventory including allocation and reservations to areas of maximum yield and blackout dates. 
 Apply an aggressive overbooking policy and educate team to accept through benefits of results achieved. 
 Effectively manage for E-commerce & distribution channels and be in control of all inventory and pricing strategy. 
 To ensure that the rate information in the PMS is accurate and current at all times. 
 To monitor overflow telephone calls to Central Reservations Office, incoming telephone traffic and business trend. 
 Up selling to maximize revenue and profits & Try to cross sell, F & B - C & E sales. 
 Manage blocks & groups (enquiry or tentative or definite) to ensure accuracy of business are being maintained, forecasted, yielded & released at appropriate time. 
 Prepare and present at weekly availability meeting an outline of risks and opportunities relative to room availability versus hotel inventory. 
 Promote a professional image to the client with an effective communication on all reservation related matters to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery, whereby this role will include key responsibilities such as:
1- Complete training on-going to ensure excellent customer service is offered at all times & to achieve the company's vision and goals. 
2- Support daily RSA development by monitoring & evaluating shop calls – follow up with reinforcement of sales techniques. 
3- Assist in developing the department’s annual training plan and participate in the Aspire sales training program. 
4- Implement weekly/monthly goals to support this plan. 
5- Coaching offer leisure and corporate guests alike to relax in comfort or conduct business with ease, and provides the perfect gateway to holidaymakers heading. 
6- Monitor the daily operations of reservations to ensure that all revenue related system is kept up to date with accurate information and back-up is obtained for individual and group bookings. 
7- Monitor front office tracking of guest history data to know regular guests & memberships.
