• Father of Communication- Claude Elwood Shanon (April
30,1916-Feb 24, 2001) was an American mathematician,
electrical Engineer, cryptographer known as Father of
information theory,. He published in 1948 “A Mathematical
theory of communication.
• Oldest way of communication- smoke signals, electric
telegraph used electric signals to convey the message which
were the first form of electronic communication.
