2. INTRODUCTION
Change is the law of nature
In our day to day life we see many changes around
us.
Weather changes periodically (daily/seasonly),
season change periodically.
Some changes can be observed while some are
not possible to notice
There are different types of changes that occur
around us
Some changes take place very quickly while others
take hours, days or even years
3. CHANGES
Some changes are temporary while some others
are permanent
Some changes produce new substance while
others do not
Some changes are natural while others are made
by human beings
Some changes are desirable to us but some
changes are not desirable
4. TYPES OF CHANGES
Slow and fast changes
Reversible and irreversible
changes
Physical and chemical changes
Desirable and undesirable
changes
Natural and man-made changes
6. SLOW CHANGES
Changes which take place over a long
period of time (hours/ days/ months/ years)
are known as slow changes
Examples :
1) growth of nail and hair
2) change of seasons
3) germination of seed
8. FAST CHANGES
Changes which take place within a short
period of time (seconds or minutes) are
known as fast changes
Examples:
1) bursting of balloon
2) breaking of glass
3) bursting of fire crackers
4) burning of paper
11. REVERSIBLE CHANGES
Changes which can be reversed (to back
the original state) are known as reversible
changes
Example:
1) touch me not plant (responding to
touch)
2) stretching of rubber band
3) melting of ice
13. IRREVERSIBLE CHANGE
Changes which cannot be reversed or to get
back the original state are known as
irreversible changes
Examples:
1) change of milk into curd
2) digestion of food
3) making idly from batter
16. CONCLUSION
Every day we observe Changes Around
Us. For example the change of day and
night, flowering of plants, ripening of
fruits, rainfall etc. Change is the
transition of any substance from one
form to another.
