1. Compression molding technique is the moulding tecnique of heat –activated denture base resins in a confined shape by applying pressure and usually heat.
Application –In complete denture processing
Technique includes :-
Preparation of the mold
Selection and application of a separating
Polymer-monomer ratio
Polymer-monomer interaction
Dough-forming time
Working time

STEPS IN MOLD PREPARARATION
A. Complete tooth arrangement prepared for flasking process
B.Master cast embedded in properly contoured dental stone
C. Occlusal and incisal surfaces of the prosthetic teeth are
exposed to facilited Subsquent denture recovery
D. Fully flasked complete maxillary Denture
E. Separation of flask segments during Wax elimination process
F. Placement of alginate-based separating medium
STEPS IN RESINS PACKING
A. Properly mixed resin is bent into a Horseshoe shaped and placed into the
Placed into the mold cavity
B.The flask assembly in placed into a Flask press and pressure is applied
C. Excess material is carefully removed From the flask
D.The flask is transferred to a flasked Carries, which maintain pressure on the
assembly during processing
