Front cover rationale
Skyline
The skyline to my magazine front cover will contain onesentence which massively advertises the magazine in a way which it boasts the
magazines ego to come across as being the most useful magazine in it’s the genre (health and fitness and healthy eating) the most
professionalline whichI could createwillbe “To turn yourlifearoundand your bodywithit” the reason being I believethat I will use this
line is becauseitis notonlyencouraging theaudienceand inspiring them but itis also atthesame time targeting them and itis wellknown
psychologically that anger is the mosteffective formofa human drive/motivation making theviewer morelikely to listen to themagazine
as they will feel as though they are being targeted and that they want to make a change to prove it wrong.
Masthead
The mastheadto my magazinewill be thefirstthing thatis below theskyline,the nameofthe magazinewillbe “fit notquit”the reason
being for this nameis I believethatit almostmakes a referencetothespeech styleofthat ofthe north, whilst at thesametimehaving some
elementof motivationto it, as to methetitleis saying to getfit and not quit,it’s that elementofremoving theidea ofgiving upthat makes
it motivational as well as due to the north style ofspeech that makes the viewer able to relate.
Main cover line
The main cover lineto my magazine will say “theeasiness comes from will”theidea behind this cover lineis thatyoucan read themagazine
buy what products youbelievewillhelphowever unless you havethe will todrive yourselfandachieveyour goals then allofthat will befor
nothing, for the colour ofthe fount I believe will bered, thereason I havedecided on this colour is becauseofi ts correlation withblood
which thenleads to theheart andeventually health,this as a resultwillmake the impact the magazinehas ontheviewer morememorable
as it is red which will be the driving force behind the front cover when it comes to a domina nt theme.
Dominant image
The dominantimagewillbea photograph ofmy model/ closefriendAndrew, the reasonI selected himofallthemodels I hadofmy disposal
is becauseAndrew shows a largepassion infitness meaning that therewill be a strong element ofpassion in his body languageandfacial
expression,why I believethat this will begood for the magazine is becauseit willmake itfeelmorerealwhen theviewer l ooks at it, there
will not be the idea that themodel is simplyin itfor money butinsteadtherewill betheidea that themodelhas a message that they want
to get out to a large audience,the photograph itselfwillshowmy modelAndrewin a gym holding a weightwitha facial expressionthat
shows seriousness, the reason for this photograph as well as why I took the photograph this way is it will makethe front cover ofthe
magazineunique, why I want tomakethemagazines front coveruniqueis becauseit is this that will makethemagazinestand outandbe
different from its influences making it stand out from a competition aspect.
Sub heading
There will only betwo sub-headings on thefrontcover ofmy magazinethereason being for this is I want theviewer to focus moreon the
main imageas simply by themain imagecan theviewerbe drawn inand havean understanding as to whatthe magazineis about,at the
same timeif thereis to many subheading thenthe viewer will be ofput by the magazine simply dueto it looking morelikea book than
something which someonecanquickly read for information andknowledge,thetwo subheadings themselves will be along thelines of“turn
your life aroundandyour healthwithit” thesecond sub heading I planto include willbe “givelifeto yourselfand theearth” thereason I
believeI will usethese two sub headings is the firstfor fitness thesecondfor healthy eating resulting inme covering theareas I hopeto for
my magazine.
Sell line
The sell lines willbe atthevery bottom ofthefront coveras almosta lastattempt to getthe viewerto buy themagazine, as wellas thisit
will be not a largesize as much likethesubheadings it is notwhat youwant theviewer to focus on whenlooking at themagazine, as well
as this it is not common for fitness magazines to have verynoticeable/ dominantsell lines meaning I am only following the genre by not
focusing on the selllines,however I plan tocreateonewhich willsay “theonly guideto 100% perfecthealthand fitness”thereason for this
sell line is it boasts the magazines ego as well as acts as one last attempt on the magazines behalfto persuade the viewer to buy the
magazine.
Barcode
The barcode to my front cover willbe placed in thebottom right ofmy magazine,it willbe placed very smallwith theprice and website
address onitsothatway theviewerknows whereto lookfor more knowledge, as wellas this the priceofmy magazine will bethree pounds
fifty pence, the reason for this priceis so that until the product goes into larger production there is still money being ma de wherethe
magazineis being sold,at thesametimethis is also theaverageprice thatI have seenon other magazines ofthe same genre meaning it
would help my magazine when it comes to my magazine standing a chance against its rivals.

Front cover rationale Skyline The skyline to my magazine front cover will contain onesentence which massively advertises the magazine in a way which it boasts the magazines ego to come across as being the most useful magazine in it’s the genre (health and fitness and healthy eating) the most professionalline whichI could createwillbe “To turn yourlifearoundand your bodywithit” the reason being I believethat I will use this line is becauseitis notonlyencouraging theaudienceand inspiring them but itis also atthesame time targeting them and itis wellknown psychologically that anger is the mosteffective formofa human drive/motivation making theviewer morelikely to listen to themagazine as they will feel as though they are being targeted and that they want to make a change to prove it wrong. Masthead The mastheadto my magazinewill be thefirstthing thatis below theskyline,the nameofthe magazinewillbe “fit notquit”the reason being for this nameis I believethatit almostmakes a referencetothespeech styleofthat ofthe north, whilst at thesametimehaving some elementof motivationto it, as to methetitleis saying to getfit and not quit,it’s that elementofremoving theidea ofgiving upthat makes it motivational as well as due to the north style ofspeech that makes the viewer able to relate. Dominant image The dominantimagewillbea photograph ofmy model/ closefriendAndrew, the reasonI selected himofallthemodels I hadofmy disposal is becauseAndrew shows a largepassion infitness meaning that therewill be a strong element ofpassion in his body languageandfacial expression,why I believethat this will begood for the magazine is becauseit willmake itfeelmorerealwhen theviewer l ooks at it, there will not be the idea that themodel is simplyin itfor money butinsteadtherewill betheidea that themodelhas a message that they want to get out to a large audience,the photograph itselfwillshowmy modelAndrewin a gym holding a weightwitha facial expressionthat shows seriousness, the reason for this photograph as well as why I took the photograph this way is it will makethe front cover ofthe magazineunique, why I want tomakethemagazines front coveruniqueis becauseit is this that will makethemagazinestand outandbe different from its influences making it stand out from a competition aspect. Sell line The sell lines willbe atthevery bottom ofthefront coveras almosta lastattempt to getthe viewerto buy themagazine, as wellas thisit will be not a largesize as much likethesubheadings it is notwhat youwant theviewer to focus on whenlooking at themagazine, as well as this it is not common for fitness magazines to have verynoticeable/ dominantsell lines meaning I am only following the genre by not focusing on the selllines,however I plan tocreateonewhich willsay “theonly guideto 100% perfecthealthand fitness”thereason for this sell line is it boasts the magazines ego as well as acts as one last attempt on the magazines behalfto persuade the viewer to buy the magazine. Barcode The barcode to my front cover willbe placed in thebottom right ofmy magazine,it willbe placed very smallwith theprice and website address onitsothatway theviewerknows whereto lookfor more knowledge, as wellas this the priceofmy magazine will bethree pounds fifty pence, the reason for this priceis so that until the product goes into larger production there is still money being ma de wherethe magazineis being sold,at thesametimethis is also theaverageprice thatI have seenon other magazines ofthe same genre meaning it would help my magazine when it comes to my magazine standing a chance against its rivals.
