I used YouTube to research
other soap opera trailers so
that my group could also
conform to the codes and
conventions of a soap opera.
This was useful as it was easy
to access the trailers and this
meant that we could create a
realistic trailer that resembles
a soap opera.

Slide share was useful as it was
an outlet to use and display
information like my target
audience analysis presentation.
This benefitted me as it created
an easy access for the
examiners but also a
professional layout.

it. This benefitted me as it
meant that the examiners again

create innovative presentations
to relay information. I used the
software to show the research
of my analysis of the British
Soap Operas, EastEnders and
Coronation Street. This
software was useful as it
reflected my knowledge and
comprehension of the codes
and conventions of soap
operas.

linear format to relay all my
work and updates for my
Advanced portfolio. This blog
website helped me a lot when
doing the portfolio as I was
displaying all my work that I
have done during this portfolio.

10. PLANNING AND PRE-PRODUCTION
Adobe Premiere was a useful
tool that I used to edit the
footage for my trailers. Using
the application, I was able to
edit footage, add diegetic and
non-diegetic music, add split
screens and export it to
YouTube. This app was
incredibly helpful as it is easy
to use and I was able to access
it easily.

11. PLANNING AND PRE-PRODUCTION
I used YouTube to upload and
show my trailer so that it can
be showed up professionally on
my Tumblr page. This was
useful as it was easy to access
the trailers and this meant that
we could create a realistic
trailer and other British soap
operas post contents like
trailers on YouTube too as it
accesses a wider demographic.
