represent particular social
groups?
My magazine represents age by having
young artists with touches of the
traditional older rock music ingrained into
them, this allows both generations to
appreciate each other.
It represents both genders as rock music
is widely distributed amongst men and
women. It represents a variety of
ethnicities and does not focus on just one.
3. As it is an alternative magazine, it
stereotypically represents artists from a
lower/middle class background.
It represents underground artists and the
lesser known musical talent.
4. The models, layout design and language
combined allow the magazine to represent
the bold and brash artists and tell a story
of the underground scene.
The magazine reflects the representation
of the intended audience as it presents its
fresh ideas to the younger generation.
5. My magazine conforms to the stereotype
of being altered and unique. It is
unforgettable and therefore shows that it
is not conforming to the mainstream
panorama.
