4. COMMON SYMTOMS OF THIAMINE
DEFICIENCY
 Beri beri is due to eating of polished
rice which lacks thiamine in it
 Chastek paralysis is due to feeding
of raw fish

5. RIBOFLAVIN (VITAMIN B2
DEFICIENCY)

 This is found in grass,meat ,and milk
FUCTIONS
 It is found in riboflavin
 Xantine oxidase and other enzymes

 It mainly affects poultry and swine

6. POULTRY
 This deficiency leads to curled toe
paralysis
 In adult birds decreased egg and
antibody production
 Decreases hatchability as well as
embryonic mortality

 Retarded growth
 Conjuctivitis
 Still births

8. NIACIN DEFICIENCY
SOURCE
 Present in alfa alfa and animal by
products
FUCTION
 Mainly present in dehydrogenases
enzyme which helps in cellular
respiration

9. Deficiency of dogs
 It is caused in dogs due to feeding of
corn which leads to Canine pellagra
or black tongue
 It is also called as Stuttgart disease
 It also causes cyanosis of
tongue,salivation and diarrhoea

10. PANTOTHENIC ACID DEFICIENCY
