A Digipak is the whole art piece of an album. It includes the album’s front cover, rear cover
and inside covers. The Digipak I will be analysing is the album ‘Continued Silence’ by the
alternative rock band ‘Imagine Dragons’
The front cover of this album is designed to go with the theme of the songs within the
album. The songs within this
album are of a dark and
depressing theme and the
album cover reflects this.
The album cover features a
lone person floating upwards
in a dark forest. There is a
purple tinge to the image and
the forest is shrouded in fog.
The whole image looks very
dark and gives a feeling of
alone.
The rear cover of the album is
very similar. The background
image is simply an extension
of the forest, same fog and
same black tint but aimed
more towards the ground. It
has the six songs within the album
listed on the back, along with a
barcode, company logos and other
information (Legal information,
band website etc.)
The inside cover of the Digipak
features nothing other than more of
