1. Debate: Defense DAY
Mr President, my worthy class fellows and respected audience!
Today, the topic of my debate is "Defence day of Pakistan". Today is the 6th of September . We proudly
celebrate it as defence day of our sweet motherland. The entire world knows that in 1965, how the
fearless, courageous and daring tigers of Pakistan Army crushed the planned, organized and secret
aggression of the enemy . They reduced all the pride and boldness of the large Indian Army to ashes. In
the words of Iqbal:
Dusht to dashat durya bhi na chchoray hum nay
behray zulmat main dora diay ghoray hum nay
my dear fellows! Pakistan was not had as a charity. It was not made to secure land. And it not made in a
day. Pakistan is a result of Islamic ideology . For accomplishing this ideal, the Muslim nation merged into
one unit under the flag of Muslim League and the leadership of Quaid e Azam. They decided to do or die
but to have Pakistan. To this end, our forefathers laid their lives, sacrificed their sleep, spent all their
riches-----forgot everything but Pakistan.
But now the current pandemic situation of pakistan is totally different from past few decades. we have
forgotten the foundation of our existence. The society and culture of Pakistan comprises numerous
ethnic groups that do not work collaboratively for Pakistan but for their own class.
Islamic identity is as strong for us as our national identity. We are suffering from the current incidents in
the Islamic world because we have distanced ourselves from the values of islam.
Such a great shame, such a great sorrow. Believe me that we are now going through the third toughest
phase. We can only emerge from this tough period through strong unity. We have to transform the
sectarian conflicts into a fraternal meeting, by revising our methods of educating and raising people,
rediscovering the path of our beloved Prophet and once again reviving the values of our religion.

Pakistan is small but important country of the world which has huge role in the political world. But on
the other side, Pakistan is facing lot problems in these days through which it has become one of the
world’s worst countries of the world. Why is that? Last 60 years from its dependence, this country lived
in different ruling systems, Dictatorship and Democratic System. Terrorism is the major problem that is
facing Pakistan which is root cause all problems.
Poverty is also the 2nd organizations, about more than 60% population of Pakistan is under line of
poverty. Today Pakistan is facing all type of energy crises like electricity shortage, gas shortage etc.
2. Pakistan’s economy is in worst condition ever in its history. Today it is declining fast and bank reserves
have decreased up to just 5 Billion Dollars from 14 billion dollars which is really small amount. Many
economic analysts say that if Pakistan won’t stable its economy then there will be very deadly
consequences.
The overriding concern of Pakistan's national life is security, both internal and external ie country's
defence from inimical forces from within and without. we have the 7th greatest army in the world but
we have to provide security to our peoples..Why?
because of lack of unity, faith, discipline. the teachings of Quaid..
The 6th of September should also be a day of thanksgiving. We should all pray for the safety and
solidarity of Pakistan and also that God gives us the strength, courage and determination, to protect and
safeguard at all costs, the freedom and honour of our homeland.
Respected audience!
Let's aim together. We shall work hard, excel in all fields of learning and warfare. Defend our country till
death. We shall made the flag of Pakistan up stand in the comity of nations.
Aay watan teri fasloon pah her ik sumt
Hum loog abhi zinda o baidar kharay hain!
