The Quran is the final word of God that was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad over 23 years, beginning in 610CE when he received his first revelation in a cave on Mount Hira. The revelations came periodically to guide people towards virtue and reform by addressing their needs and allowing time to accept and apply its prevention, guidelines, and teachings as a complete code for life.

2.  Quran is the final word of God to Mankind and it was
revealed to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
 Quran was revealed in a period of 23 years, it was not
revealed all at once rather it was received by Prophet
Muhammad (PBUH) on diverse occasions.
 The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) received his first
revelation in 610CE, in the Cave of Hira in the
Mountain of Light (Jabale-Noor), two and a half miles
away from the House of Allah in the city of Makah in
Arabia.
 Revelations came when the need for supervision
happened.

3.  The slow but sure revelation of the Quran geared up
the people to accept and then live the virtues,
admirable manners as it demanded.
 The Quran was revealed in stages so that its listeners
could be aware of, internalize, and apply its
prevention, guidelines, and reform.
 We know that for humans it’s not easy to leave bad
habits and activities.
 Quran came not only to revolutionize couple of habits
but it came as a complete code of life.
