  • 1. THE KEY POINTS OF LEARNING TO LEARN

TEACHING STUDENTS HOW TO LEARN IS AS IMPORTANT AS TEACHING THEM CONTENT.  Teaching student good learning approach would guarantee that they know how to obtain new knowledge, which leads to better learning result.  Students who exercise appropriate strategies to recognize and remember what they read, such as underlining central parts of the texts or discussing what they read with other people.
  • 3.  Make up questions that I try to answer about this subject.  Learning something new in subject, think back to what I already know about it.  Discuss what you are doing in this subject with others.  Practice things over and over.  Draw pictures or diagrams to help me understand this subject. Some of key points are discussed below:
  • 4.  Think about your thinking, to check if you understand the ideas in this subject.  When you don’t understand something in this subject, go back over it again.  Make a note of things that you don’t understand very well in this subject.  When you have finished an activity in this subject, look back to see how well you did.  Organize time to manage your learning.
