2. The name of the lead guitarist and
artist is at the top of the page in
large block font. This makes it very
prominent on the advert. The
featured people that are playing
with the artist are in a smaller
bannered font underneath. All the
font on the poster is the same just in
different sizes
The main image of the album is in the
middle of the page and is the first thing
that you would notice when looking a the
advert. The image also contains the guitar
that Slash uses that has become a familiar
symbol of the artist. It is also easy to
discern the type of genre that the music is
due to the symbolism in the image. There
is an electric guitar being straddled by
two females and some snakes. One
female an angel and one a demon. Girls,
potentially fatal animals and religious
references are some of the conventions of
hard rock.
The advert is more concerned about selling
the concert tickets than the album. The
dates and locations of the events are at the
bottom in bigger font than the actual name
of the album. This is a convention of rock
as the concerts are usually more prominent
than the album release

All we are told is that we can

Reckless poster, this has a very
minimalistic design.
The artists name is at
the top in their
signature font. The
entire poster is the
album cover design.
At the bottom AM can
be interpreted as an
abbreviation of Arctic
Monkeys. It could also
be referencing the
frequency AM due to
the sound wave above it.

is at the bottom, along with

people can visit.
This poster is different to the
others as the artist name and
album name are in the middle
of the page.

people with lips almost
touching suggesting the songs
may have a theme of love.

costume. These two things
show us that the possible
genre of the material is
probably rock or metal.
