How and why I used
them
Art of the Title, Netflix, YouTube, Google, IMDB, and
Wikipedia.
These sources allowed me to gather the research I
needed to create my film. This includes information
about movies of the same genre, any awards these
movies had won and the type of audience they
received. I used these programs because they are
reliable and easy to use.
Prezi, Scribd, BlogSpot, PowerPoint, and Slideshare. I used these websites so that I could upload
information and production notes about my film to
the internet for those interested to enjoy. The easy
to use interfaces and quick easy public access made
these applications perfect for my Pre-Production.
Microsoft Excel and Survey Monkey. These two programs were the logical choice when
wanting to do my audience research. Everything
was online so that meant there was no need to
keep track or collect multiple sheets of paper. They
also enabled me to create diagrams and charts to
visually display my research.

Vegas movie studio I used Vegas Movie Studio because
it contains many easy to use effects,
transitions and filter colours. It also
enabled me to superimpose titles
over the original cut as well as
easily fade between cuts and shots.
Freeplay Music I used a free music download
service to download non-copyright
music for Blank Canvas. I used the
piece called The Huntsman.
