2. Process
• To create the pixel art I created a Photoshop file
which was 120x80 pixels. When I used the pencil
tool and put the size to one pixel so I could draw
my pixel art. I drew the characters in a different
file and drag them into the background file
which made it easier designing the characters.
4. Process
• To create the animation I added a timeline to my Photoshop file.
I did this by pressing window at the top of the screen and then
scrolling down to timeline and then pressing create frame
animation. To make the character look like he's moving I moved
the background to the left of the screen and changed the legs of
the character every new frame. I did this by making multiple
layers of different legs and change between them each new
frame. I also used tween option to move the train on the level
complete screen. I did this by creating two new frames where
thee train is in different places on the two frames and then
pressing the tween option and setting the amount of frames
between the two frames.
5. Process
• After I finished my animation in Photoshop I had to
change the size of the file so its not small when I upload it
to YouTube. I did this by selecting image size on the image
tab at the top of the screen and then making the size of
the file 1080x720 pixels. I didn't’t save the 1080x720
version because I wouldn't’t been able to edit it.
6. Process
• After I resize the animation I had to render it. I
did this by pressing the file tab at the top of the
screen and then render video. I made the format
H.264 and the size 1080x720 so that it would be
high quality.
7. Process
After rendering the animations I put them together
with premiere pro. I also added the audio in
premiere pro. I made the audio on beepbox and
some sound effects I couldn't make I got from
freesound.
8. Process
• When I transferred the clips to premiere pro then were
fast and you couldn't see what was happening in the
animation so I slowed the clips down by 50% so you
could see what was happing. I also used the stretch tool
to make some audio and clips longer and also used the
razor tool to shorten so audio which was to long.
9. Process
• After I finished editing I had to export the video so I
could upload it to YouTube. I did this by selecting the
file tab at the top and then export. I made the format
the same as the Photoshop file which was H.264 and
made the Preset YouTube 1080p HD so that it will be
high quality.
