I am currently seeking a new challenge as a class 2 HGV driver. I intend to become a valued &
respected member of the team and to promote the company and myself in a positive and progressive
manner.
I have eight years seven months of valuable experience as a class 2 HGV driver. During this time, I
have maintained the highest standards of professional behaviour, both towards the company, and our
customers. I am an experienced, safe, and confident driver and I maintain a clean driving licence. I
have an excellent attendance and time keeping record.

Group chair - Elected to chair a work group responsible for solving
work related problems.
Spot Welder - Car body shell assembly and rectification of robot weld
failure. Tool maintenance and general housekeeping.
Finisher - Principally responsible for ensuring quality standards on
door fitting including measuring and adjusting door alignments.
Trim & Final - Responsible for fitting various parts during the vehicle
assembly Inc wiring looms, badges and other small parts.
2. 1988 – 1990 METAL CLOSURES LTD
Packer - Duties included transferring moulded bottle tops into
storage systems and packing into boxes.

General Porter - Based at the Midland Centre for Neuro-Surgery
And Neurology. Main responsibility was transporting patents between
wards, theatre & X-ray departments.
Kitchen Porter - Working at Sandwell & District General Hospital
duties included preparation of meals and delivering to wards.

Hobbies and interests
During my free time, I enjoy watching football, fishing, and listening to music, and attending live
performances from time to time. I value spending time with family and friends. I am a father to two
children, a 28 year old son, and a 25 year old daughter, and a grand-father to my 3 year old grand-
daughter. I partake in casual exercise, particularly swimming, to keep fit.
