Position: Logistics Warehouse Supervisor
Dates: May 2003 – Date
Currently based at Mugiemoss Warehouse. Duties include supervising warehouse operations staff,
meeting deadlines for operational departments, systems checks, guidance training for on site staff
 Working independently or as an integral part of the team to complete operational requirements
 Lead and supervise the warehouse staff in day-to-day operations whilst maintaining
administration duties as required
 Provide guidance, conduct familiarization training and on-job-training for new staff on in-house
systems and/or the working procedures to ensure the new staff learn and contribute effectively
to the operation
 Monitor the overtime consumption of direct reports and ensure there is no abuse and
falsification of overtime and provide the accurate overtime submission to warehouse
management and administration.
 Respond to all enquiries and feedback from internal staff and provide responses in a fast and
professional manner, and to ensure adherence to applicable procedures and performance
standards.
 Perform system check periodically to ensure all receipts/despatches including data transactions
are updated accurately on a timely basis.
 Supervise customer specific receipts are carried out in an effective and efficient manner
meeting the quality requirements of the customers.
 Monitor and ensure warehouse consumables including fuel (gas/diesel) are checked as per
agreed deadlines, order in advance of depletion with warehouse manager.

capital HSE and IMS standard work practice.
 Investigate, resolve and report findings of all inventory/receipt/despatch discrepancies and
potential issues immediately to ensure satisfaction

segregation.

Career History
 2000 – 2003: Transport Manager at Global Logistics. Based at their Dyce facility in
Aberdeen. Day-to-day operational running of fleet transport. Arranging/co-ordination of
driver’s duties/loads. Tachograph/fuel checks and driver compliance along with time
management. Customer liaison and Invoicing. Organise the service and maintenance of
vehicles as required.
 1989 – 2000: Driver at Freight-co International Based at their Aberdeen facility in Dyce.
Deliver and collect Air-freight and Sea-freight consignments often to critical deadlines covering
UK and Europe
 1984 – 1989: Courier/Driver at Pegasus Couriers. Based at their Aberdeen Depot. Deliver
and collect Oil company documents/Tenders along with small goods to be delivered to Oil
companies locally and throughout the UK, often to critical deadlines.
