Hardies Bakery 2012-2016 Driver
Delivering orders in a timely manner, in and around Scarborough. Helping with packing and
general day to day issues. Inputting of cash payments into the companies accounting system
via computer and tablet.
Woodheads 1997 – 2012 Senior Driver
Involved with planning of deliveries using seven 7.5 tonne wagons, a freezer wagon and six sprinter
vans with thirteen drivers. Implementation of all Health and Safety at Work procedures and on site
safety including daily vehicle checks with tachograph, torque testing wheels and a freight transport
checklist for the three month vehicle safety check. Periodic inspection of COSHH packs including
First Aid kits and spare bulb kits.
Woodheads 1992 - 1997 Driver
Responsible for delivering produce on time to various locations throughout Yorkshire and
Humberside. Involved in operational Health and Safety checks for allocated vehicles. Good team
worker with added sense of responsibilities and promoted to senior driver.
T.E.F. Transport 1991 – 1992 Driver
Class 1 HGV driver / shunter responsible for delivering general haulage across the UK with weekly
overnight stops.
Turners Pallets 1990 – 1992 Driver
Driving a Class 2 HGV flat bed within the Yorkshire region delivering and collecting new and used
pallets.
2. Prior to 1990 I worked in various catering establishments around Scarborough including the Royal
Hotel as a Gourmet Chef.
Hobbies and Interests
I enjoy swimming and scuba diving and am a PADI certified diver. I also enjoy mountain biking,
