PERSONAL PROFILE
I was part of the Armed Forces for 5 years after I left school, where I gained my City and Guilds
Qualification as a Mechanical Engineer. After leaving the Armed Forces, I took a year out and
attended College to gain my HNC in Electronic Construction and Testing skills. In the last 5 years,
I have been employed by David Heeps Haulage Ltd, and Stagecoach UK, working my way up to
a Senior Mechanic’s position at Stagecoach UK.
I currently work offshore for Altus Intervention, I have developed a lot of experience with working
with heat exchangers (Rent Air), pumps, generators and cranes as this is part of our rig up
process, as well as repairing the equipment. I feel that my previous employment as well as my 10
years’ experience as a Mechanic has helped develop my confidence within the industry.
I am reliable, flexible, hardworking and adapt well to new situations. I enjoy working as part of a
team and consider myself confident at working under my own initiative. As well as a wide range of
skills, I have accumulated through practical experience, I am keen to learn and would be willing to
undergo further training activities as and when required. Also have full UK driving license and
