 To conduct fit up and dimension inspections as per Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) and
to provide technical guidance for welding sequence and distortion control.
 Ensure calibration of the welding machine, Tools and quivers.
 Assessed dimensions of materials to ensure their compliance as per requirement of
thickness of plate/pipe.
 Traceability for weld joint, NDT and documentation.
 NDT Test MT, PT, Leak Test, Visual Acceptance of joints to comply with the NDT
percentage requirements per line class & welders performance.
 Review performance of welders, repair weld analysis to determine the cause & initiate
preventive / corrective action.
 Witness Hydro, Pneumatic Testing as per approved quality procedures and inspection
plan.
 Managed Request for inspection (RFI) and report the client and coordinated with the
client representatives for daily welding activities and NDT at site and new material
approval.
 Witness PQR & WQT as per required codes and standards.

in QA/ QC related issues.
 Participated in punch list preparation during line walk for piping spool, piping valves,
control valves, pressure valves and its rotation check with respect to Isometric and
P&ID.
 Reviewing structural weld map, material traceability and complete QC dossiers.
 Reviewing Piping spool release and packages.
