2. Welding.
Witness of welder qualification test (WQT).
Review of received filler and consumable Test Certificate
Monitoring of Pre heat, Inter pass temperature and inter pass cleaning as per WPS.
Visual inspection of welded joint profile, surface finish and defects.
Preparation of joints for NDE as per required Inspection Class
Offering of joints and organizing the NDE team
Verification of weld repair work.
Familiar with Welding processes as GTAW, SMAW, GMAW, and SAW.
Inspection of welding consumable as per approved WPS.
To verify the required equipment for welding, like welding machine, baking equipment,

Coordination with client inspector to resolve the issues related to test package.
Witness/Inspection of Hydro test, Pneumatic Leak test and Flushing / Air Blowing activities.
Monitoring of all the NDT activities (RT, DPT, MPI) and Post Weld Heat Treatment of all the
welded joints as per Drawings, Method Statements, Specifications/Standards and WPS
Check that correct bolts and gaskets are installed at all Mechanical joints
Check the Valves materials as per piping drawings (ISOs)
Maintain Record for the inspection of Steel Structure & Piping work
Complete documentation of all inspections as per QIP & Specifications and submitting for
