2.  Coordinating with NDT department to carry out NDT tests in weldment as per ITP and
evaluating the same to assess the integrity of the weldment.
 Checking the alignment of the erected structures and inspecting mechanical completion of
various packages in all aspects as per drawing/ITP and offering to client and TPI for obtaining
final clearance certificate.
 Raising Technical Queries (TQ) for site related and drawing related issues to the design
department.
 Preparing Work method statements for all major equipments in steel plant and getting it
approval from client and consortium partner prior to the start up of job.
 Performing alignment and levelling check of major equipments like Pump, drives, conveyors
etc.
 Preparing punch list for erected equipments and its looping system and coordinating with site
execution team to attend the punch points and offering to client for final Inspection.
 Coordinate with engineering and construction staff as well as liaise with clients on welding
requirement.
 Ensure that welding, heat treatment, inspection and non-destructive tests if any, are in
compliance with the relevant codes and specification.
 Preparing QC documents as per approved PQP.
 Conducted Internal Audits for Various ongoing construction packages like Steel Melting Shop,
as per ISO 9001:2008.
 Preparing loop details, Testing scheme, Pipe history sheet, Isometric sheet and joint
codification with respect to plan drawing and P&ID.
 Ensuring all piping work has completed mechanically and getting Mechanical clearance for
pressure testing.
 Performing pickling work to achieve the NAS value.
