 Assess, evaluate, and document patient health information as necessary
 Identify health issues and refer them to providers, coworkers, and other healthcare partners as a
need-to-know basis
 Train assistants with providing extensive patient education on HIPAA and OSHA regulations and
standard for office policies and procedures

diseases
 Assist with patient examinations; Obtain vital signs, collect specimen, perform in-office lab test,
draw blood, and prepare specimens for outside lab

and medications as directed
 Perform diagnostic testing, such as EKG, PFT, U/A, STREP, PTT/INR, HCT, BS, HCG, EAR &
EYE IRRIGATION, EAR & EYE SCREENING, HOLTER PLACEMENT & MONITORING, ABI, VAT
& ENG
 Counsel and educate patients about contraceptives, pregnancy and prenatal care
