Responsible for managing all nonclinical areas of multiple
outpatient radiology facilities, including Registration,
Preregistration, Scheduling, Operators, Transcription and
Medical Records departments. Responsible for managing
four direct reports and fifty indirect reports with employees
at multiple locations. Implementation of updated EMR
systems which included; creating new processes and
developing training material for all departments, coordinating
and leading training sessions, integration and device testing,
final implementation and issue resolution. Monitor and
enforce acceptable employee performance. Implement
incentive programs and motivate employees. Responsible
for discipline counseling, hiring and termination processes of
all employees. Complete employee evaluations. Coordinate,
lead and attend meetings. Develop and implement policies
and procedures while adhering to best practice of Adventist,
SJCH and Cerner as well as achieving the mission of Quest
Imaging.
Supervise and assist front office staff, including; Registrars,
Greeters and Expeditors. Assist with interviewing and hiring.
Provide training. Complete all job specific competencies.
Counsel staff for inappropriate behavior. Assist in continuous
process improvement. Update and maintain departmental
policies and procedures. Coordinate services with other
departments as needed. Develop and maintain staff
schedule. Monitor and enforce quality control process.
Monitor and enforce acceptable productivity levels.
Collaborate with management to complete yearly
evaluations. Facilitate department meetings. Participate in
leadership meetings. Patient registration, greeting and
expediting.
