“Physical education or P.E is an integral part of
the general education designed to promote the
desired level of fitness through participation in
well selected activities.”
P.E is an important part of curriculum, a
subject that gives you an opportunity to
achieve, develop, and maintain the desired
fitness level through various games, sport, and
other physical activities.

Physical Fitness is considered as a measure of
the body’s ability to function efficiently and
effectively in work and leisure activities, to be
healthy, to resist disease related to inactivity
and to respond to emergency situations.
IT IS THE ABILITY OF AN INDIVIDUAL
TO PERFORM DAILY ACTIVITIES
EFFICIENTLY WITHOUT UNDUE
FATIGUE.

10. EXAMPLE OF HEALTHY HABITS are the
following:
1. Intake of proper nutrition – eating
the right foods that provides nutrients.
Food rich in proteins, vitamins, minerals, carbohydrates, fats
and water.
2. Adequate sleep – recharges the
brain amd allows the body to rest.
About seven to nine hours of sleep at night.
3. Proper exercise – helps reduce
stress, improves health, sense of well-
being and quality of life.
Stretching exercises, warm-up exercises and simple fitness
dances.
4. Personal hygience – helps you feel
good and clean every day that will also
help you prevent infections in
communicable diseases.
Regular bathing and changing of underwear, brushing teeth
every day after meal, trimming of nails.
5. Recreational Activities – activities
that give immediate satisfaction.
Games, sports, arts, and crafts, music.

are categorized into two:
HEALTH RELATED COMPONENTS
(HRC);
the measurable components that is related to
our health and also involves exercise
activities that you do in order to try to
improve your physical health and stay
healthy.

body fat to lean body
tissue. This component
helps you realize if you
are already developing
risks in your health.

It is the ability of the
lungs, heart, and blood
vessels to deliver
adequate amount of
oxygen to the cells to
meet the demands of
sustained physical
activity.

kinesthetic intelligence of an individual.
