That’s right. I know it hurts. I know you’re special. You’re different. But know what? No one else knows that. And our little reptilian brains aren’t able to process that either. We need to make it easy for customers to find us and for others to recommend us. And to expect people who need us → which means they are NOT experts in our area of expertise so how would they possibly know all the nuance and cool intricacies of what we love to do and nerd out about ???? ---> we need to make it easy for them. And I know it hurts so much. But you have to put yourself into a category that others understand. Are you a brand strategist? A marketer? A graphic designer? Do you make backpacks, shoes, or meals delivered to the doorstep? Once you put yourself in a bucket THEN you get to have fun. I’m a brand strategist that specializes in story. A backpack with an outdoor fashion perspective, the most exclusive skate shoes in NYC, or a 100% vegetarian meal delivery service that also focused on eliminating waste.
