1. Production Reflection

2. Process
To begin with i used the paint
bucket tool to make the
background colour. I then chose
the colour red for the masthead
with white text. When I first chose
the text I liked it however I thought
that it isn’t that big and doesn’t
stand out so I then used the
vertically scale tool to change the
height of the text so that it stands
out to the audience more.

3. Process
I then found a photo that I wanted to use for my
main photo and used the quick selection tool so
that I could put the photo against the blue
background and then I resized the photo to how I
liked it and added a barcode to the bottom left of
the magazine.

4. Process
I then added a cover line to the right of the magazine
and chose a font that stands out and is quite bold. The
keywords in the magazine are bigger than the rest or in a
different colour. As “Drake” is bigger than the other
words in the cover line as it is a buzzword and will
attract the audience to buy the magazine and “Gods
Plan” is in another colour as it will also attract the target
audience as it’s Drakes new song.

5. Process
I then added more cover lines to the left side
of the magazine and put a red box around
the word “Exclusive” as it is a buzzword and
will attract my target audience to buy the
magazine as the interview is exclusive and
they can only read about the interview in
this magazine. I also put “Lil skies” bigger
than the other text as this will attract lil skies
fans to buy the magazine and it makes it
clear that the interview is about lil skies.

6. Process
I then added “lil skies” “biggest artist of 2018”
on the picture of lil skies as this will also
attract his fans to want to support him and
buy the magazine that is about their favourite
rapper. I chose to put this in a big bold white
text with a black outline as it stands out and
will be seen from a distance and it also
matches the top that lil skies is wearing and
the text and picture go well together.

7. Process
To begin with I chose to have the background colour
of my double page spread the same as the
background colour of my magazine front cover so I
used the paint bucket tool to do this. I then used
the quick selection tool to select the part of the
photo of lil skies that I wanted so that i could got rid
of the background and just have lil skies and put
him on my blue background for my magazine. I then
added text to let the consumer know that on these
pages is the exclusive interview with lil skies and I
also chose the bold white text with a black stroke
on it as it stands out well
