This is how I made my contents page.

1. Magazine contents layout
decisions
This is the process of how I
constructed my magazine contents
and the decisions that I made for the
layout. Hope you enjoy! 

2. The first thing that I
did was add my title.
I did this by copy
and pasting it from a
website and
stretching it to fit the
top. The font I used
is called Babas Neue
Bold and I copied
the layer style from
my front cover
masthead and
pasted it into the
layer where it said
contents so its the
same as my front
cover.

3. The next thing that I
did was added all of
my pictures in the
position that was on
my flat plan. Then I
decided to add a
stroke to the images
which meant that it
added a black
outline. And I think
that it added a nice
touch to it and made
the picture stand
out.

4. The next thing that I
did was add a
rectangle box and I
used the colour
picker and I used it
to get the colour
from the title to
colour the box.
Then I added a text
box and used the
font of Myriad Pro
for the title. And I
used the colour
black for it as well..
I also added
circle graphics. I
did this so that I
can add the
page numbers
in it after and it
looked very nice.

5. I decided that the
rectangle box didn't
look very appealing
so I thought that I
would take it away.
Then I thought that
the black circle
graphics didn't look
that nice so I made
the colour of it the
same as it was on my
front cover.

6. Later I decided that
the circle graphics
were too small. So
this meant that I had
to increase the size.
And I thought that it
looked nice and it
would mean that the
numbers that I
would put it in
would be seen
clearly.
Another thing that I
did was make the
top stories text
bigger so that it
would fill the blank
space and would
look fuller.

7. Another thing
that I did was
add numbers
on the images.
I put numbers
in spaces
where it was
plain so it
would be easily
readable.
The next thing
that I did was
add numbers in
the circle
graphics and
aligned it so
they were in
the centre.

8. After I put the
number on the
contents page I
decided to put
the headlines
and stories. I
used the font
of tw cen MT
Condensed
extra bold and
I wrote the text
in black to
match what I
did on my front
cover.

9. Finally I
decided to
add a graphic
and then I
added text in it
with the font of
Minion Pro.
The reason I
did this was
because I
thought that it
finished the
empty space
which made it
look overall
more full.
