barrier.

education in line with their needs eg teledermatology and skin barrier training for TV nurses.
Leg Club Organisation.
• Demonstrated cross functional working with other departments to access hard to access

• Took responsibility for my own development and secured funding to attend courses. The
most recent being the Lindsey Leg Club conference as a delegate.
• Through my career KOL development has been a priority. I have accompanied many
Health Care Professionals on National and International conferences. I have also facilitated
the introduction of KOL with Almirall Stakeholders (including Global) that has resulted in the
creation of documents of Best Practice that have been used across Wales.

2. Almirall Pharma LTD July 2008-Present
Territory Business Manager
I joined Almirall in 2008 after being head hunted. On joining the Dermatology division I worked
within a Primary and Secondary Care environment promoting three dermatology products. I
organised a large number of educational events from small presentations to study days with 120
delegates. My territory started as Cardiff and Vale, Cwm Taf and Aneurin Bevan and has expanded
year on year to include West and mid Wales and Hereford. I have embraced this challenging role
using my business skills to uncover business opportunities and gaining formulary successes in key
accounts.
In 2014, my team was given responsibility to launch Constella, for IBS, into Primary Care. My
territory finished the year in second place for cash growth.
I have strong relationships in all key Dermatology, Gastroenterology and Tissue Viability
departments and developing relationships within Elderly Care.
I can demonstrate consistent sales and market share growth, in targeted accounts, resulting in
regular bonus payments and company recognition.
I have worked with head office on several projects and I have been rewarded several times for sales
and contact rate performance and for working hard with integrity and honesty.

Clinical Sales Specialist
I Joined LEO Pharma in 2001 as a medical representative and over a two year period worked my
way up to Senior and then Executive level. During this time I attended a business assessment
centre and on passing that, was given the opportunity to take a Regional Business Manager
secondment for a year. I specialised in dermatology products for eczema and psoriasis.

I managed a wide range of team members from rookies right up to people with over 30 years’
experience at LEO. The main skills I developed were leadership and mentoring whilst managing
and motivating a diverse team. I have focussed on my own development as well as that of my team

Medical Sales Representative
Covering the South Wales territory promoting a range of products from urology to hayfever
therapies. Selling to Primary and Secondary care consistently achieving targets (sales, activity and
meeting) and winning several new recruit prizes. This involved working with all levels of NHS. I
worked for Pharmacia and Upjohn other big name Pharmaceutical companies.
Princess of Wales Hospital Bridgend and St David’s Hospital Cardiff 1980 – 1998
3. During my time between the two hospital, I achieved the most senior position within the cervical
screening team and retrained within Histopathology at the same time.
I was responsible for reviewing the cervical screening procedures and recommending changes
within the dept. Within both departments I was given responsibility for teaching and training new
members of staff and other health care professionals. As a result of working above and beyond my
grade I was awarded extra incremental payments on my salary scale.
Samaritans Jan 2014 to present
I work for Samaritans as a Listening Helper. This means I offer emotional support to callers on the
phone, by email and text. I have one (four hour) evening shift a week and one weekend shift. I also
support the organisation by working with the Recruitment and Training Teams.
Interests
I am a keen walker and a member of Welsh Women Walking who undertake regular long to medium
length treks.
