Apex Pharmacy Marketing Sdn Bhd
Apex Pharmacy Marketing is the marketing arm of Apex Healthcare Berhad, which is a leading
regional pharmaceutical group in Malaysia. They have been in business for over 40 years and their
core business involves distribution, manufacturing and retailing of various healthcare and
pharmaceutical products.
I started working as a sales representative in 1994, and one of my achievements was to take a
diabetic product with almost zero market penetration, and increased its sales by 7 times within 6
months.
I was covering pharmacies around Klang Valley and I used to deal with products from key principles
such as Nestle, Hypocol, Xando, GSK, B Braun, and TRN Marketing. I was Top Sales Person every
year for the Consumer Healthcare Division until 2003 when I was promoted to Sales Supervisor.
As Sales Team Leader, my job was to manage and supervise all sales representatives across the
nation for the Consumer Healthcare Division. I was also responsible for discussions and negotiations
with key principles for marketing, promotion support and sales budgets. My team was able to reach
sales targets every year without fail.

and hypermarkets channels.
This also provides me the flexibility I needed to pursue another deep passion of mine, which is to
learn and teach others how to achieve great health and age gracefully.
My consultancy spans from product penetration strategies, product & market potential and feasibility
studies, promotion concepts development, to recruiting staffs for roadshows and promotion events.

Successful penetration of Ipoh Home’s Café White Coffee into Malaysia’s top hypermakets (Giant,
Cold Storage, Aeon Big, Aeon and Tesco). With 500% sales increase within Klang Valley in 6 months.
Increased penetration of Hai-O’s products into pharmacies nationwide. And carried out successful
roadshows for various Hai-O’s health food and supplement products.
