2. Audience Profile
The age of my audience will be older teenagers(13-18). This is because the
genre of the game(role playing game) would be very suitable to people this
age. This is because the genre can be simplistic and colourful which would
appeal to younger audiences, but it can also be complex and detailed which
older teenagers could enjoy as they understand the game more. I believe my
game will appeal to both genders, this is because the game would not have any
aspects that either gender would enjoy more, which would make it suitable for
both genders.
3. Style sheet
This is one style that could be used
during an outside, daytime setting. This
is because I would like the game to be
very bright and colourful during daytime.
This could resemble more of a night time
or combat setting, as it would match the
night sky and some mist settling in the
night. This can make the game more
eerie during night time settings.
This colour style would match the setting
of a cave very well, this can be used to
help my game have multiple sections of
the world, making it feel bigger for a
player.
6. Sound Effects/Dialogue
Sound Effects
I can use ‘Beep Box’ to create my own music for all aspects of the game.
I can create a sound effect for walking with ‘Beep Box’ as well.
For dialog, I will record a person doing a small mumble as a text box appears on
screen.
For sound effects such as entering buildings, I can record those sounds then bit crush
them slightly so it matches the other sounds in the game.
7. Health and Safety
Potential Issue How will the issue be
avoided?
Eye Strain. Make sure you take short regular breaks from
computers so you do not hurt your eyes.
Back Pain. When sitting at your computer, make sure you
are sitting up straight for the majority of your
time sat down to avoid pain when standing.
Electrical Damage. Keep liquids away from the computers to avoid
spilling it on the computer which could cause
serious injuries if you are shocked. Also avoid
open wires as they can cause just as much
damage.
