White spaces, these are
used in lots of magazines
often regarded to show
classiness.
This caption tells us who is in
the picture, it is all of the band
members and the location in
which the photo was taken.
This is used as a brief leadin to a story, usually smaller
than the headlines but
bigger than body text, this
helps give you a brief
summery of what will go on
in the main article.
This is the main image of
this article, it shows the
band that they are talking
to, and maybe helps to
show there personality's or
peoples perceptions of
them possibly.
Body text, this is the actual
article, other than the
headlines, sub-headings
captions ect..
The Body text is usually
around
sized font, this
is because they can fit
more on but it is a good
size to read also.
Gutters are used simply just to
show the space in between all
of the text.
This is called a pull quote and is
used to pick out something
important or funny that
someone says, this is an
interview and this is one of the
answers Justin Hawkins gives to
the interviewer.

page is quite popular as people can

This is a pull quote and is took out
from the article that is on this 2 page
spread, this grabs your attention and
is probably one of the first things the
reader reads, that’s why they use
some of the most interesting things
when using one of these.
