~I have worked my own Mary Kay business learning selling and customer service skills, making presentations to teach
other consultants business related topics, and earning a multitude of prizes for achieving sales goals. In this on-going
position, I have introduced potential clients to Mary Kay products, consulted with them regularly in order to service
them according to their needs, and followed-up on a regular basis to build a relationship of trust and respect. Part of
their customer service included running Customer Loyalty promotions, bi-monthly service calls, email reminders of
new and/or discontinued products, and scheduling annual customer service appointments.
Volunteer and mother
~ Chairperson for All Saints Catholic School’s main fundraiser for 12 years. This position helped me use my
communication skills and abilities to lead and work with volunteers and staff, requisition corporate sponsorships,
and run a fun and increasingly profitable fundraiser. Because of relationships built with individual families and
supporting companies, the fundraiser’s income increased from $11,500 the first year, to over $38,000
the final year I oversaw this event.
