hours at Cogite. Anne is a brand strategist and the founder of The Brandling, a
company that aims to empower businesses and change makers through strong
strategic branding.

• Branding concerns the inside and the outside of a company and is inherent to
culture, transcending spoken languages to focus on the most basic levels of
communication.
• Branding helps define who you are, your company or product’s most basic
essence.
• Branding is the essence of what you do, your vision for the future, your
mission on how to get there, and the values that drive your actions.

These are translated into brand promises: things you commit to deliver to your
audience/ clients. This inner world is translated to the outside world through a
visual and verbal identity. The inner world is translated into tangible experiences,
productions, services, communications, and channels, all branded by the same
visual and verbal identity.
2- BRANDING WHO YOU ARE
It is critical to map out who you are and why what you do matters
By clearly defining who you are and what your company or product stands for,
you can create strong branding principles to drive everything you do.
3- WHAT CAN ENTREPRENEURS DO
TO CREATE A STRONGER BRAND?
• Have your customers serve as your company’s ambassadors.
• Listen to your audience to better understand your company or product from a
different point of view.
• Define a strong plan of action and clearly define your target audience.
