2. I have now shown multiple
members of the target audience
my progress so far, which is
almost a rough-cut, it’s just
lacking a soundtrack and some
scenes are not in place correctly.
3. Feedback (Positives)
• It’s appealing as it features multiple conventions
within it
• It’s a conventional trailer, just lacking some important
elements
• Psychological elements were present – which depicts
the protagonist’s mental state well
4. Feedback (Negatives)
• It appears to be one scene places after the next
• It’s slow in places
• Some scenes are long and bore the viewer slightly
• Editing needs improving
• Distorted audio from wind
5. Improvements
• Improve the editing of scenes
• Make it so it’s not just one scene played after the
previous
• Add more flow to it with less uninteresting build up
• Include conventional soundtrack
• Add in transitions, more captions, film information
and release information
6. Overall
Overall, the content was found very appealing by the
target audience, but it is lacking certain elements that
keep it from being fully conventional, mainly being
within two of the four technical areas, Editing and
Sound.
This has given me ideas on how to improve my
production as I advance into the first draft.
