• My magazine will be based around athletes and sports
performers in Hertfordshire
• However it will mainly feature articles based of the athletes diets
• The aim will be to inform the people in Hertfordshire of the
lifestyles these athletes have and to motivate us to make a
change
• Hopefully the readers will be influenced positively and will want
to change not only their lifestyle but also their diet

• A key part of this magazine will provide diet plans and recipes
for the readers to try
• This will encourage the readers to improve their diet so that
they can improve their fitness
• By changing a lifestyle the readers can set themselves goals
that they can achieve in their specific sport just like the athletes
do
• The magazine will also make the readers aware of the steps the
athletes make to improve their overall performance

• The target audience for this magazine will be aspiring athletes
who want to achieve and improve their performance in sport.
• The primary audience for this magazine will be 16-30 year olds
as the younger audience will be keen to develop their sports
performance
• The secondary audience will be people from 30-45 who are
trying to get into sport but not on such professional level
• The older age group will also be interested in this magazine as
they will want to change their lifestyle and improve their diets

• 30-35 pages – as it needs to include a variety of different sports
• It will include a different athlete every 2 pages
• Meaning 2 pages will be dedicated to an individual athlete
• On each page there will be a clear description on the athletes
lifestyle, sport and diet type
• It will also include exclusive interviews from some of the
performers in Hertfordshire
• Where they will tells the readers about their experience and
also how they achieved in sport by maintaining a balanced diet

to introduce themselves and to talk about their sport and diet
• The double page spread will include clear photos of the athletes
meals and a photo of them
• The double page spread will also include an interview which will
keep the readers engaged and interested

• The budget wont need to be too high as it will be an
independent magazine
• The cost of the magazine will be around £2.50 which is an
affordable price for the buyers
• The price of the magazine will also cover printing costs and the
studio costs

distribution
• Advertising through social media
• Facebook- ads of our magazine can appear once someone has
searched anything sport related
• Instagram- adverts will appear on a feed when someone a uses
a # to do with sport or diet in their post
• This will be an easy way to spread the name of the magazine
and promote it
• The magazine will be distributed around local stores in
Hertfordshire

• Its unique as not only does it look at athletes in Hertfordshire
but also their diets
• The competition is very limited as there is not a magazine
dedicated to performers diets in Hertfordshire
