Held directly accountable for leveraging strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills and industry
knowledge to drive sales and profit for multiple stores representing total volume over $75M. Fully responsible
for partnering with store teams to observe, evaluate, and direct merchandise execution processes, plan and direct
workload planning, manage payroll/non-payroll expense control, and to recruit, train, and coach team members.
 Establish rapport and productive relationships at all levels within the organization to help ensure that decisions,
actions, and recommendations are consistently in the best interest of employees, customers, and the company.
 Coach, motivate, and inspire team members to reach their fullest potential, increase productivity and efficiency,
and drive and exceed targeted sales goals/objectives by developing and executing merchandising strategies.
 Collaborate regularly with store executives, district planners, merchants, and vendors to acquire, present, and
sell merchandise. Influence supply chain to ensure new merchandise is timely and presented appropriately.
 Review and analyze merchandising reports, results, and trends, prepare and execute action plans to leverage
store strengths and to address areas of opportunity, and implement revenue generating ideas and strategies.
 Uphold a positive image of the company while actively contributing to customer service objectives and quality
standards by evaluating results, identifying needs, and analyzing and responding to customer and team feedback.
 Ensure the complete training and development of team members, oversee staffing, hiring, and scheduling needs,
establish individual and team performance expectations, and facilitate a positive/motivating work environment.
 Participate in workload planning decisions that impact areas such as gross margin, Workers' Comp and general
liability, and energy consumption. Delivered #1 store operations performance in 2013 for the TN/KY district.
 Recognized for outstanding performance and results including several promotions, Macy's Tennessee District
Leadership Award (2012), and being selected to the Macy's Executive Leadership Development Program.
