3. • Gender- My magazine is aimed at

range of 13 to 17. The cover star I
have used is a young, glamorous,
teenage girl so she can attract bigger
audience as she will be a similar age
to the readers.

From the research I conducted at the start of this project, I found
out that there were two popular colour schemes that my audience
favoured. These were Gold & silver and Blue. After reviewing this,
I opted to go for the blue as I felt this would be more of a cool and
calming colour scheme and would also be perfect for my male
colour scheme.

5. Throughout my magazine I have used five different fonts because I wanted some things
to stand out more than others as I felt certain things were more important. However, by
sticking to five fonts it made my magazine look more professional and well constructed.
This font is called ‘TrashBox’. I used this font for my
masthead as it is quite bold and eye catching with a
textured background to make it stand out.
This font is called ‘Algerian’. I have used this on my
double page spread because it is bold and distinctive
so it therefore stands out on the page. This font was
used to show a quote from the artist.
This font is called ‘Agency FB’. This is a bold font
which is why I chose to use it on the page.
This font is called ‘Orator Std’. This
font isn’t bold but is still quite
distinctive as they style is all
uppercase letters.
This font is called ‘Baskerville
Old Face’. This fonts isn’t too bold
yet it still stands out on the page.
As this font was used to represent
a conversation I didn’t want it to
be too eye catching as the main
focus should be on the images
and the quotes.
