2. House Style
In my magazine I have kept a house style
throughout my magazine. The evidence for this is
the colour scheme, I have kept the red, white and
black scheme throughout with a accent colour of
gold on certain sections. The reason that I have
chosen these colours because they work well
together with the whit usually being the
background colour. Another magazine that uses
this is Q magazine, this means my audience are
able to determine what genre the magazine is
from the front cover. I have also kept the same
font throughout which is Tahoma the reason that I
have chosen this is because I believe it is to read
and looks simple and not to ‘fancy.’
3. Front Cover Image
My front cover image is of a single
artist who is maintaining eye
contact with camera. The reason
that I have done this is because I
believe it looks more professional.
My model is dressed in a suit which
I chose because of the image I was
trying to create, I was aiming for a

4. Cover Lines
The cover lines that I used are effective
because they are aimed at my audience.
I have added artists that my target
audience are interested such as Noel
Gallagher and Lana Del Ray.
I also added humour to my cover lines
with my ‘sex drugs and sausage rolls,
with Cee Lo Green’ The reason that I did
this was because I wanted the magazine
to be formal but also have a small

I attracted my audience to my
double page spread by using my
house style throughout to make it
aesthetically pleasing. I also
included pictures which I believe
add a small amount of humour. Also

believe would attract the audience
