Reflection

2. Process
On this stage, I was preparing to set
my desired background. I’ve added
trees onto the frame. I decided to add
features onto the log to add more
depth and characteristic to the tree. I
also took a realistic approach on
doing my background such as
colouring it with a purple colour to
make it as realistic as possible. I’ve
also use dark green and brown on the
lower part of this stage to make it the
setting to look like as if it took place
in a forest.

3. Process
On this stage I have completed my
background with the theme that I
desired. I’ve added darker trees to
show the depth of the forest and
added green vines between them to
show that this forest is abandoned
and no one has discovered it. The
trees are wide and thick. I’ve added
the moon and stars to the
background as the setting is at night.
I’ve decided to put the moon behind
the trees to make it more intriguing
and interesting.

4. Process
On this stage I’ve added a wooden
shed and starlight tokens into the
game. The reason why the shed is
there is because it acts as a shelter
and the finishing point for the
character. The tokens are there as
a guiding system and as a reward
as well for the players. I’ve decided
to add obstacles just to make the
game more enjoyable and fun.

5. Process
During this stage, I’ve
decided to add a main
character as the storyline of
the game is bout an explorer
running away from a
dinosaur to a shelter to win
the game. This character is
heavily inspired by Mario
but to avoid being
copyrighted I decided to dd
my own twist to it.

6. Process
I added a Pterodactyl as a final
touch to my piece. With the
presence of the dinosaur the game
is complete. I’ve imported the game
into premier pro to add sound
effects on it. I’ve downloaded two
sound effects and pasted it into the
game.
