The Game Over Podcast
What is it called? This can change if you think of something better later
Product’s Purpose:
The purpose of our product is to entertain people by talking about horror films. The way
we’ll accomplish this is by using informal tone and being polite as possible, so people will
enjoy it.
What is the product’s purpose (entertain/educate etc.) and how will you achieve this?

It is a horror podcast
What sort of product is it
Content
Our podcast is about horror movies. In the first episode we’ll be discussing the horror
movie Saw. On the episode we’ll give our opinions about it as well as deep insights about
the film and do a trivia where one person asks questions and the other two answer them.
What is your product about? Discuss what you would put in it (be specific). Does it have a story? If
so, discuss it here
Audience:
Most of our audience would be 16-19 male horror fans, who are middle class and upper
middle class and are belongers. The reason it appeals to males more is because most male
like horror and they are adrenaline junkies due to thrilling moments in the film. However,
this doesn’t mean woman doesn’t like horror movie but not many of them do. 16–19-year-
olds and middle class/upper middle class would be the main audiences since we are all
under the same umbrella due to this, the things we find interesting other people our age will
too. The reason why people who are belongers would love this podcast because Saw was a
famous film among the middle class and the upper class. This is because money is
required if you want to watch a film and you also need to pay Spotify for yourself to listen
to podcast.
Who is your audience? Be very detailed; age, gender, social status, psychographic etc
Why would your project appeal to this person?
Legal & Ethical Considerations:
1. During the episode we will talk about the film and inside the film there is a
gore/violent scene we will include it in there.
2. People who are below the age of 16 will be warned and advised that they should
listen to it with the company of an adult.
3. It won’t offend any particular social groups/religions and ethnicities.
4. We will use informal tone and yet still be polite with each other by not swearing to
each other or use certain words that could incite conflict especially regarding race
and religion
5. We will be talking about the characters in the film and tell the audience our
opinions regarding their role in the film.
6. We will start our podcast from scratch starting from the logo, lighting and props.
We will make sure that our design and script would be completely different from
others.

Will you restrict younger people using/accessing it?
Will it offend any social groups/religions/ethnicities?
How will you ensure you do not offend anyone?
Are you using characters/names/logos of existing products/IPs?
Will you product be sufficiently different from existing products to not get sued for copyright

Think about any offensive material you will include? Will you restrict younger people using/accessing it? Will it offend any social groups/religions/ethnicities? How will you ensure you do not offend anyone? Are you using characters/names/logos of existing products/IPs? Will you product be sufficiently different from existing products to not get sued for copyright infringement?
