2. Process
Firstly, I decided to make a fairly simple background to start off
with as a base for my experiment. After the main background, I
added a floor and a grave on the side to add a spooky touch to
the atmosphere of the game. Then I added a decrepit structure
over the grave which had vines and cracks which I drew on.
After that, I drew a skeleton with the drawing tool transitioning
into a ghost which turned out pretty well. I made the
transitioning with the motion blur. With this, I lowered the
opacity and changed the brightness and contrast as well.
Finally I added a new layer over the game and cut out an oval on
the layer so it was just left with corner pieces. Then I added a red
stroke, change the lightness and contrast and then lowered the
opacity.
3. Reflection
• What elements of your experiments will you
include in your final product?
• Blurring of background and other things on the my work because its always useful
to make thing appear to be close and far away, just on the look of the flat image
since you can create perspective with an image with the blurring tool.
• Altering saturation, curves brightness/contrast, vibrancy, hue and lightness, to
make my whole image of colour, look as good as possible.
• Refer to the brief: Ghost Game
– It’s a great idea since you can be very creative with the theme of a
ghost because its almost its own genre and there’s lots of things you
can do with it since it factional and people can make things up.
