2. Process
I started off with a 80 by 120 grid
and made my background for the
base of the map and where the
animation will take place. With
using a bigger paint brush to do
all the details on the ground
(bullet casings and blood effects)
After the background was made I
designed a sprite from a top down
perspective with the arms and
gun not being attached to the
body and head therefor meaning I
can animate the recoil of the gun
and the slide going back.
3. Reflection
• What elements of your experiments will you
include in your final product?
– I will use the idea od layering the characters on
separately to the background but make sure that
the sizing is right for the type of game I want to
do. Right now I feel it is too small to play on
therefor will probably make a bigger space for a
full game.
4. Process
After merging the layers it was
time to animate with me doing
movements frame by frame and
later on adding another character
into the mix. After using the
photoshop animation tool I was
able to render and export the
video at 1080p the stage after
this is to put the videos into
premier and make and utilize
sound effects to make our
experiment come alive.
5. Reflection
• What elements of your experiments will you
include in your final product?
– Want to keep the 1080p quality of the work. And
keeping it to that so I could put the product up on
YouTube to show off to the audience via media
outlets like that.
6. Process
• What I did when all
the parts of work
where ready is I
formed them together
with sounds that
would fit in with the
scenario. This was
done by taking counter
strike sound effects /
callouts and using
them for my recording.
7. Reflection
• What elements of your experiments will you
include in your final product?
– I will keep the concept of using a lot of voices and
lack of music to make gameplay that bit more “on
edge” vibe. As well as having lots of voice
intergraded sounds that'll ill record for the final
project.
